Our history as auctioneers goes back to 1903, when Juan Carlos Naón founded the company on Bartolomé Mitre St., in Buenos Aires. Mr. Naón is the grandfather of the current owner, Juan Carlos Ocampo Naón. It is still a family-owned company.
It is truly a family of connoisseur auctioneers and art lovers, who have made of this profession a tradition. Four consecutive generations have experienced the joy of auctioneering.

In 1947, our company moved to 1785 Guido St., into a luxurious and antique mansion that Mr. Naón had bought for his son-in-law Jorge Ocampo, who married Susana Naón, so that he would follow the family business tradition.
Since 1961, Juan Carlos Ocampo Naón, Mr. Naón's grandson, has run the company as owner and auctioneer. Also working at Naón are Carlos José de Iriondo, who started as auctioneer in 1961, and Juan Carlos Ocampo (Jr.) who joined the company in 1981.
Throughout our existence we have held 1500 auctions, including 80 auctions of great importance, with art objects of superb quality and value.
